About Pratham-Shah PraDigi Innovation Centre and Creativity Clubs
PraDigi Centre is a unit of Pratham which aims at developing technology-enabled learning solutions. The Creativity Club Program is a tech-enabled open learning model developed by PraDigi Centre which aims to connect children (10-14) and youth (14+) with creative learning opportunities. The program aims to foster 21st-century skills (creativity, problem-solving, communication and collaboration) and is driven by youth volunteers and teachers in schools and communities. In the current year, the centre aims to strengthen the existing creativity clubs, innovate and extend its offering to the larger ecosystem.
About the Role
At Pratham’s Creativity Club Program, we’re launching some exciting new learning experiences this year—spaces where children can explore, create, and bring their ideas to life through hands-on projects rooted in curiosity and creativity.
We’re looking for a versatile Trainer who will be responsible for planning, session implementation, mobilization, documentation, reporting, and management of the overall academic operations of the different subjects at the Creators lab. The trainer leads the respective creators lab and works in close association with the respective Team lead, Central team and Content team in maintaining the standard quality of sessions at the respective center. At all times he/she has to ensure that Academic operations and goals are aligned with overall labs sessions, planning and operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilitation & Training
- Conduct regular sessions and workshops across domains like STEM, arts, digital tools and design, and creative problem-solving.
- Mentor children and youth on hands-on projects and challenges within the creative learning spaces.
- Support learners in exploring digital tools (e.g., Adobe Express, OctoStudio, and similar platforms).
2. Program Implementation
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the spaces, including basic equipment setup, care, and usage.
- Maintain an annual activity calendar aligned with Creativity Club objectives.
- Document sessions, track participation, and submit periodic reports.
- Document success stories and learning journeys of participants for knowledge sharing and visibility.
- Maintaining inventory (In & out register) for Training-Learning Material (TLM) and other important things on a regular basis.
3. Learner Support & Mentorship
- Provide personalised guidance to highly motivated learners.
- Encourage interdisciplinary exploration across arts, STEM, and digital skills.
4. Community & Partnership Engagement
- Coordinate with local schools, community groups, and stakeholders to drive participation.
- Encourage local ownership by utilizing community/school spaces effectively.
- Organise showcases of learner projects (fairs, exhibitions, community demos).
Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong interest in creativity, digital tools, STEM, and experiential learning.
- Ability to engage learners with energy and patience.
- Outstanding Platform Skills i.e. the presentation skills to transmit content effectively to an audience.
- Teaching Skills (Online & Offline) : Have advanced teaching skills in both offline and online mode, especially aptitude for e-learning and mobile training.
- Management Skills: Must possess good Management and delegation skills which include trainee counseling & mentoring. Along with the ability to handle multiple roles and activities at a given time.
- Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills in English, Hindi and a relevant regional language (Marathi/Kannada).
- Flexible Problem-solving approach, along with having a proactive, innovative, and positive mindset.
- Digital skills: Comfortable with technology and digital platforms.
Essential and Desirable criteria
- Minimum Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (education, social sciences, science, arts, or related fields).
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in training/facilitation, preferably with youth and children.
- Willingness to travel within the state.
